Itinerary

Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu (1,350 m). Transfer to a hotel and rest or explore Thamel

Your journey begins once you arrive at TIA (Tribhuvan International Airport). At the airport, the Evernepal team welcomes you with a flower bouquet. After that, you are transferred by a private vehicle to your 3-star standard hotel safely. At the hotel, you are greeted with a warm welcome, refreshing drinks, and a personalized check-in. After taking a break, if you want, you can explore the vibrant streets of Thamel with your personalized guide. While strolling through the streets, you can buy souvenirs. In the evening, you return to your hotel, where you are offered a curated menu. You pick any delicious items to enjoy your meal. After that, you spend the night.

Day 2: Sightseeing and trek preparation in Kathmandu. Visit major heritage sites.

This day is fully occupied to explore the Kathmandu valley. After a delicious breakfast, you prepare the essential things such as gear, clothes, and supplies for the trek. After managing all items, you then proceed with your sightseeing tour with our guide in a private vehicle. On this day, you visit UNESCO world heritage sites, which are mentioned below

Patan Durbar Square: This is a historic area that is full of old palaces, temples, and courtyards. This site is famous for its ancient palaces, temples, and intricate Newari architecture. 

Pashupatinath temple: The most renowned Hindu temple is the Pashupatinath temple, which is located at the banks of the Bagmati River. It is dedicated to Lord Shiva. This temple is famous for its beautiful architecture, spiritual atmosphere, and the holy Bagmati River that flows beside it.

Swayambhunath Stupa (Monkey Temple): Swayambhunath Stupa, also recognized as the monkey temple, is a famous Buddhist site located in Kathmandu. From this temple, you witness beautiful views of the entire Kathmandu valley.

Boudhanath stupa: Boudhanath stupa is one of the largest stupas in Nepal and also a center point for Buddhist devotees. The stupa holds the four pairs of eyes pointing at the four cardinal directions, which represent wisdom and compassion.

Bhaktapur Durbar Square: This Durbar Square is a historic site that is filled with ancient palaces, temples, and exquisitely carved wooden architecture. This reflects the culture and traditions of the Newar peoples.

Day 3: Drive from Kathmandu to Sigatte (1,020 m) by jeep

Following an early leisurely breakfast at the 3-star hotel, you have a scenic drive through a private jeep towards Sigatte. This journey takes around 6 to 7 hours, covering a distance of 100 km to arrive at day 3 destination. The journey takes you through the lush valleys and the Bhimeswor temple before reaching Sigatte. Your driver, along with the guide, stops at various viewpoints, from where you can enjoy the stunning views and perform photography. While having a scenic drive, you may be pleased with the sudden change in scenery, as snow-covered mountains rise before you. After an hour on a rough road, you arrive at the day 3 destination, where you stay overnight.

Day 4: Trek from Sigatte to Jagat (1,250 m)

After a hearty breakfast by looking at the tranquil river, you continue your trek toward Jagat, which takes around 5 to 6 hours, covering a distance of around 10 km. You trek with an experienced private guide and support staff through the diverse Himalayan scenery, like lush rhododendron forest, and the Bhotekoshi river valley, before crossing the high suspension bridge. During the trek through rice fields, Buddhist monasteries, unique ethnic villages, and waterfalls, you take a moment to witness the breathtaking views of Mt. Gaurishankar (7,145 m), the second-highest peak in the Rolwaling Himal. After a few hours of trekking, you arrive at Jagat, where you eat a delicious dinner and stay overnight.

Day 5: Trek from Jagat to Simigaon (2,773 m)

In a calm early morning, you receive a hearty breakfast. After that, you continue your trek to Simigaon, which takes around 5 to 6 hours, covering a distance of 10 km. You head towards the northeast direction through peaceful trails before you reach the Simigaon. The trail winds through the terraced fields, green forests, streams, traditional settlements, and waterfalls before arriving at Simigaon. On the way to Simigaon, you witness the Sherpa culture and beautiful views of Mt Gaurishankar. After a few hours of trekking, you reach Simigaon, where you stay in a comfortable lodge and enjoy a warm meal before spending the night.

Day 6: Trek from Simigaon to Donga (2,800 m)

Day 6 begins with a peaceful morning in Simigaon. You get a hearty breakfast before you continue your trek to Donga. It takes around 5 to 6 hours, covering a distance of 11 km. The trek follows a quiet and scenic path through rhododendron and bamboo forest before entering the Rolwaling valley. The route takes you through the Gyalche village before reaching the Donga village. In between stops, you take a break for a delicious and warm lunch while enjoying the view of the surroundings. By late afternoon, you arrive at Donga, where you spend the night at a cozy lodge after having a leisurely meal.

Day 7: Trek from Donga to Beding (3,690 m)

After a hearty breakfast, your trek continues towards the Beding by following the alpine landscape and forest with an opportunity to witness the highest peak in the Rolwaing Himal (Mt Melungtse I). The trek gradually gains altitude, so you have time to click the photos for unforgettable memories and to take a short rest. After that, you continue your trek towards Bending. You trek for 5 to 6 hours by covering a distance of 12 km to reach the Day 7 destination (Bending). Here, the locals make Chang (barley beer) and salted yak butter tea. At this place, you receive a delicious and warm dinner before spending a night.

Day 8: Acclimatization day at Beding with an optional hike to Malung La Pass

This day is dedicated to adjusting the body to the high altitude environment. After having a relaxed breakfast, you take a gentle walk around the village to explore many other attractions, including ancient monasteries, waterfalls, yak pastures and beautiful views of Gauri Shankar and Melungtse peaks. If you feel energetic and can perform some high-altitude hikes, the Ever Nepal team organizes an optional hike to Malung La Pass. As you ascend to the pass, the panoramic view gradually opens up, showcasing multiple snow-capped peaks, glaciers, and the valleys beneath you. Once you reach the Malung La pass, the beautiful view is seen, making you pause a little bit with its beauty. After that, you return to your lodge, where you eat a delicious meal before spending the night.

Day 9: Trek from Beding to Na (4,185 m)

After a leisurely breakfast, you continue your trek to Na village. It takes around 5 to 6 hours, covering a distance of 6 km. While trekking, you witness a view of blue glacial lakes and the surrounding mountains. In this route, you also explore the diverse flora and fauna, and rich local culture. During trekking, you can take a short break and enjoy the high-altitude air. Once you finish taking a short break, you continue your trek towards Na village. After a few hours of trekking, you reach Na village. At this village, you are greeted with views of beautiful mountains such as Chobutse (6685m), Chugimago (6259m), and Yalung Ri (5630m). In Na village, you enjoy a warm dinner in a comfortable lodge where you stay overnight.

Day 10: Acclimatization day at Na with an optional hike to Yalung La Pass.

Day 10 is another day for acclimatization so that you can avoid a risk of altitude-related problems. On this day, you receive a leisurely breakfast. After that, you start to explore the villages near Na village. If you are interested and willing to do a hike, you have an optional hike towards the Yalung La pass. During the hike, you witness stunning views of Ramdung Peak's glaciers and numerous other streams flowing through it. Moreover, while trekking, you are also offered the Tsho-Rolpa glacier lake. You witness Yalung Glacier in the east, Yalung Ri (5630m) in the west, Ramdung Peak (5930m) in the south and beautiful views of Himalayans in the north from the Yalung La pass. After that, you return to your lodge, where you receive a delicious and warm dinner before going to sleep.

Day 11: Trek from Na to Nyiduk Kongma (4,750 m)

Following a relaxed breakfast, you continue your trek towards Nyiduk Kongma by ascending towards the dam that holds back Tsho-Rolpa Lake. The authorities have placed a warning system on the dam wall because the lake is expanding and unstable. After we trek through the dam, you follow the path along the south bank and then cross across the moraine area before reaching Nyiduk Kongma. It takes around 5 to 6 hours, covering a distance of 8 km, to complete the trek. At this place, we eat a warm dinner and stay overnight.

Day 12: Trek from Nyiduk Kongma to Drolumbau Glacier (5,205 m)

After a hearty breakfast, you prepare for the trek towards Drolumbau glacier. Before you reach the Drolumbau glacier, you need to arrive at the Trakarding glacier. While trekking towards Trakading glacier, you witness glaciers, rockfalls, mountains, prayer flags, and mani stones. Slowly, you reach the Tarkarding glacier. From here, you climb through rocky trails to reach Drolumbau glacier. Before arriving here, you witness several streams and moraines. It takes around 5 to 6 hours, covering a distance of 7 km to complete the trek for this day. Here, you receive a delicious meal before you spend the night.

Day 13: Cross Tashi Lapcha Pass (5,755 m) and descend to camp (5,460 m)

This is the day when you finally reach the Tashi Lapcha Pass. You can find the trek is challenging as well as physically demanding, as you need to trek through the rocky terrain to reach the Tashi Lapcha pass. It takes around 7 to 9 hours, covering a distance of 7 km to arrive at the pass, which rewards you with beautiful views of big mountains such as Tengi Ragi Tau (6943m), Bigphero-Go Shar (6729m), Dragkar-Go (6793m) and other peaks. After that, your return journey begins. You descend to the camp where you eat a warm dinner and spend a night.

Day 14: Descend from camp to Thame (3,805 m)

Following a delicious breakfast, you descend through camp to Thame while witnessing the ancient monastery, beautiful views of mountains and prayer flags. You need to trek through rhododendron and pine forest, yak pastures, before reaching the Thame. After 5 to 6 hours, covering a distance of 15 km, you reach Thame, a busy place where Tibetan traders and their yak caravans gather. At this place, you receive a delicious and warm dinner before you go to bed.

Day 15: Trek from Thame to Namche Bazaar (3,440 m)

After a leisurely breakfast, you continue your trek for around 5 to 6 hours, covering a distance of 10 km to reach Namche Bazaar. You descend through the Bhote koshi river, cross the high suspension bridge and the Sherpa village while offering the view of the Himalayas, Sherpa culture, and ancient monasteries. After a few hours of trekking, you reach the Namche Bazaar, where you are provided with a warm dinner before spending the night in the cozy lodge.

Day 16: Hike to Everest View Hotel and explore Sherpa Culture Museum, return to Namche Bazaar.

On this day, you explore the nearby place of Namche Bazaar. You can hike to the Everest View Hotel, which is around 3 to 4 hours from the Namche Bazaar and offers a rewarding view of stunning mountains such as Mount Everest, Lhotse, Nuptse, Ama Dablam, Thamserku and Tabuche. In addition to that, you also explore the Sherpa culture museum, where you learn about Sherpa traditions, history, and their lifestyle. After exploring these places, you return to your lodge at Namche Bazaar, where you receive a warm dinner and a comfortable room for a night's stay.

Day 17: Trek from Namche Bazaar to Lukla (2,860 m)

This is the final day of the trekking aspects of this journey. On this day, you receive a hearty breakfast, and then you prepare yourself for the last trekking of this journey. You need to cross the high suspension bridge, including the iconic Hillary Bridge, and trek along the Dudh Koshi River before arriving at Lukla. During trekking from Namche Bazaar to Lukla, you are offered with rewarding views of mountains such as Everest, Lhotse, and Ama Dablam, mani walls and prayer wheels. After 6 to 7 hours, covering a distance of 20 km, you finally reach Lukla. Here, you are served with a warm dinner and a cozy room for spending the night.

Day 18: Morning flight from Lukla to Kathmandu

After a hearty breakfast, you pack your essential things before reaching the Lukla airport for returning to Kathmandu. Your driver comes to pick you up from your hotel for the airport 3 hours before. After that, you take a flight. In the flight, you witness the aerial view of Himalayan, valleys and rivers. After a few minutes, you reach Kathmandu. The Ever Nepal team meets you and transfers you to your 3-star hotel, where you take a rest and relax. In the evening, you are provided with a curated menu from which you can choose any dish you want. After that, you eat a delicious dinner and spend the night.

Day 19: Free day in Kathmandu for rest or shopping

On this day, you are free to explore the Kathmandu valley in a relaxed and unscheduled manner. In the morning, you receive a relaxed breakfast. After that, you, along with your guide, go exploring the iconic places of Kathmandu Valley. You can explore the Kathmandu durbar square, Asan bazaar, Budhanilkantha temple, Thamel and Kopan monastery while shopping. During the daytime, you can also visit the local alleys and cafes to enjoy the day. At night, you return to your hotel, where you eat a delicious and warm dinner before going to sleep. If you are not interested in exploring the places, you can simply take a full day rest at your hotel and enjoy the leisurely foods and drinks.

Day 20: Transfer to the airport for final departure.

This is the last day of your journey as on this day, you return to your home country. Following a delicious breakfast, you pack your things and get ready for your driver at your hotel. Depending upon your flight time, our driver arrives at the hotel to pick you up and drop you at the Tribhuvan International Airport. It is recommended to be ready before the 3 hours of your flight, as you need to complete the check-in process and security procedures. After that, you take your flight to your hometown.
