Overview

Pikey Peak is one of the best-kept secrets of the lower Everest region. Sir Edmund Hillary famously claimed the view from Pikey Peak was his favorite in all of Nepal. This trek offers a grand sweep of the Himalayas, including Everest, Lhotse, and Makalu, without the extreme altitudes or crowds of Base Camp. It is a deeply cultural journey through Sherpa heartlands, ancient monasteries, and cheese factories.

Highlights

  • The Hillary View: Witness a panoramic view of eight 8,000m peaks from one summit.

  • Sherpa Heartlands: Visit Junbesi, one of the most beautiful Sherpa villages in Nepal.

  • Thubten Choeling: Explore a sprawling, active Tibetan Buddhist monastery.

  • Lower Khumbu Charm: Enjoy pine-scented forests and peaceful trails.
